Zara Langford started her career with Woolworths developing her love for packaging and promotion. After moving (via London) to Johannesburg in 1999, she freelanced for most of the large design agencies. She worked across the sectors or many major campaigns and really cut her teeth in the below the line creative sector. As the demand increased she settled into the Old Shanghai Firecracker Factory (merged into DDB) as an independent below-the-line studio, hence the name fireworks. Many years of great relationships and loyal clients has been key to the growth that the company now experiences now as a marketing, strategic, digital creative offering.
Zara heads up a design team of fresh and innovative thinkers. Each member using their time wisely and investing in the changing trends in digital and social media.
